"Dil Dhoondhta hai Phir wohi fursat ke raat din
Yeh Fursat ruki hoi nahi hai
Koi thehri hoi..koi jami hoi cheez nahi hai
Ek jumbish hai...Ek harkat karti hoi kaifiyat hai"
I am bored with life.. I so want to lie down on my bed , follow the light that peeps in through my window at night....and reach the moon and the stars .
I so want to teach kids , help those who need to learn how to talk , walk , kick a ball or two , make them smile , tease them , love them.
I so want to be in the company of the oldies .I so want to hear them talk and sing songs from movies that were made even before my parents were born .
I so want to not worry about deadlines.
I cry... well more than I should...
I confuse desires with passion and love with need .
I reminisce about old times , the early morning during summer vacations a bunch of 8-10 kids had set out to discover in the wilderness of JNU - a tiny world within Delhi and yet so different from Delhi and the joy a small discovery of a lake in the middle of nowwhere had brought to our lives ; lives where bounderies were well defined ;well protected by the shadows of our wonderful parents.
I have begun to ENJOY being alone . Like a friend had once very rightfully said that there is a thin line between being alone and lonely . I think I have picked up the art of enjoying my aloneness coz I don't mind it anymore .
I thought today of penning down a few of my favourite things just in case Kal ho na ho...someone will atleast know what my heart desires(d) every now and then ....when I hit a low!
So here goes....
1. Be with babies..bacha party so to say . Sometimes I wish I could go and just get them for anywhere . I know it sounds really bad but I just love babies of all kinds -thin , fat , dark , fair , with teeth , without teeth ...aww cute !
2. Write something . Somehow it helps me get rid of a lot of stress and helps me unwind .
3. Lie down on cold grass and gaze at the stars . That is the reason why I loved it in Rajasthan . The sky was crystal clear ...no dust , no polluted sky...nature at its best staring at you right on your face . Real beauty!
4. Drive down an empty road in Delhi(which is rare BTW)
5. Talking to my father about history , politics , news ....
6. Going dilli darshan...Delhi is a paradise if you love medieval history . It has it all ...it's a marvel . Shahjahan the Builder has left behind a culture that is still prevalent in the walled city of Delhi and other parts as well .
7. Sleep during a rainy day and wake up to hear chit chat and conversations and to eat pakoras with tomato ketchup completes all the criteria for a perfect holiday !
8. Hear oldies talk about their childhoood , their past and to see that glint , that spark in their eyes
9. Puppies on a street. Always make me smile :)
10. Music and movies ,anytime anywhere .
11. Reading books which has the real world as the backdrop .
12. Visit Goa around Christmas and to go on a cruise
13. Be in the company of loved ones
14. Travel to China and walk down the Great Wall and wave at the living beings who are somewhere out there ...and perhaps watching us too .
There are lots more ....but will stop for now and will write more on this once I have been through each of those that I have written above !! :)

That hits hard, especially if you are away from india.
It casts a spell and definitely makes one miss that life from which, willingly or unwillingly, we all are running away.
that was the best from you, and could identify with many in it.
i liked the line of being alone and lonely.. but sometimes life tests you with these things and you do not know where to draw the line ?
anyways.. it is really something which i could relate to and just to add that i hate where you have to prestend things. be it your nature or your work or any thing ... be yourself is the time when you live your life and for that you need the surroundings right.
Pata nahi kya likh diya ?? let me post ..
